Not so long ago someone produced a book of boring postcards, but this 1983 image of Druridge Bay by Isabella Jedrzejczyk is intentionally bleak - the bay was then the threatened site for a nuclear power station. Shelved in 1989, the plan was apparently back on the agenda in 2006.
